Product Engineer

About the role
You'll work across our full stack to create intuitive, powerful solutions for clients that do good for people and planet. This role is perfect for someone who loves building products that solve real problems and enjoys working across the entire technology stack.
We're looking for someone who can bridge the gap between technical complexity and user experience, making data tools accessible and enjoyable to use.
What you'll do
- Design and build intuitive user interfaces that make complex data accessible
- Develop robust backend systems that handle batch and real-time data processing
- Create data pipelines and APIs that power analytics platforms
- Collaborate with our product lead to translate user needs into technical solutions
- Work directly with clients and end users to understand their workflows and pain points
What we're looking for
Essential skills
- • Strong experience with modern web technologies (React, TypeScript, Node.js)
- • Experience building and maintaining production applications
- • Understanding of database design and data modelling
- • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Nice to have
- • Experience with data visualisation libraries (D3.js, Chart.js)
- • Knowledge of healthcare or care home operations
- • Experience with batch and real-time data processing (experience with Fabric and Power BI is a bonus)
- • Understanding of data privacy and security best practices
- • Experience working in small, agile teams
